"Caesar" is one of the most popular salads in the world. It can be ordered almost in every restaurant. However, at home this salad turns out to be no less tasty. I share with you a simple recipe for Caesar with Peking cabbage, which is used instead of traditional salad leaves ?
Ingredients
- 150 g chicken fillet
- 80 g Peking cabbage
- 40-50 g hard cheese
- 1 pcs egg
- 4 pcs cherry tomatoes
- 1 slice white bread
- 1 clove garlic
- 100 g unflavoured 1.6% yoghurt (3 tbsp)
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp. vegetable oil (I have olive oil)
- ground black pepper (to taste)
- salt (to taste)
Instructions
- Prepare all the products.

- Salt and pepper the chicken fillets. You can also add your favourite spices.

- Fry the fillets in a frying pan for 7-10 minutes on each side.

- Transfer the fried chicken fillets to a bowl and cover with a lid, let stand for 10 minutes.

- Cut the bread into small cubes, place on a baking tray and drizzle with oil.

- Put them to bake in an oven preheated to 180 degrees. My breadcrumbs took 15 minutes to brown.

- Chop the Peking cabbage and hard-boiled egg. Grate the cheese on a fine grater.

- Cut the chicken fillets into the shape you like.

- Prepare the Caesar salad dressing (no anchovies). Mix together the yoghurt, soya sauce, minced garlic and lemon juice in a bowl.

- Place the chopped Peking cabbage, egg, chicken and grated cheese in a bowl. Dress the salad with the dressing and stir to combine.

- Transfer the salad to a pretty dish, garnish with sliced cherry tomato slices, breadcrumbs and cheese.
