Delicious potato pancakes with golden crispy crust - a great idea both for breakfast and for a hearty snack for work. They are eaten instantly, especially if you serve them with sour cream and garlic sauce ?
Ingredients
- 500 g potatoes
- 1 pcs onion (medium size)
- 1 pcs egg
- 50 g wheat flour
- 5 tbsp. vegetable oil (I have homemade oil)
- 100 g sour cream
- 2 cloves garlic
- dill (optional)
- salt, black pepper (to taste)
Instructions
- Prepare all products for cooking pancakes.

- Prepare products for the sauce.

- Peel and wash the potatoes and onions.

- Grate the vegetables on a coarse grater.

- Add salt, black pepper and egg.

- Mix everything together.

- Add the flour.

- Stir.

- Heat a frying pan, pour in the sunflower oil, warm a little.

- Start laying the future potato pancakes on the pan (with a spoon).

- Fry the pancakes on medium heat for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden colour. If the oil is not enough during the frying process, add the necessary amount.

- Place the finished potato pancakes on a paper towel to drip off excess oil.

- When all the fries are ready, prepare the sauce. Chop the dill.

- Add salt, ground black pepper, chopped dill to the sour cream and press out the peeled garlic with a press.

- Mix everything well.

- Blushed, hearty potato pancakes are ready. Serve them with sour cream and garlic sauce to make them even tastier!
