If you've never tried tofu pancakes or tofniki, as they are also called, I recommend you to fix it as soon as possible ? The highlight of tofu cheese is its neutral taste. Tofu is used as a base for baking, while decorating the taste of pancakes with your favourite berries, fruits, syrups, etc.
Ingredients
- 175 g tofu
- 30 g wheat flour (2-3 tbsp)
- 0.5 pcs banana (the riper the banana you choose, the sweeter the pancakes will be)
- 0.5 tsp coconut oil
- 1 tbsp. sugar
Instructions
- Prepare the products.

- Break the tofu cheese into pieces and place in the blender bowl.

- Add half a banana.

- Add the wheat flour.

- Add one tablespoon of sugar.

- Blend in a blender until smooth.

- Keep in mind that the dough for banana tofniki is very sticky, so spoon it out onto a board sprinkled with flour. Gently shape the pancakes by rolling them in flour with your hands.

- Grease a frying pan with a little oil (use a silicone brush to spread it over the entire pan).

- Fry the banana cheesecakes on both sides for 3-5 minutes (medium heat).

- Garnish the finished tofu pancakes with your favourite fruit and berries. It will also be delicious if you add jam or some kind of syrup (for example, Jerusalem artichoke syrup) to the tofurkeys. In the photo below, tofu pancakes are garnished with currants, banana and powdered sugar.
